RHA Lure
RHA Lure attractant whose formulation is based on ammonium acetate and inert components, used to detect and monitor populations of Rhagoletis cerasi(cherry fruit fly – CFF) and Rhagoletis completa (walnut husk fly – WHF) in cherry and walnut orchards, respectively.
RHA Lure has a controlled release membrane that allows a longer duration of the bait with a constant emisión rate for more than 120 days.
RHA Lure should be used in combination with yellow adhesive pannels. When combined with the solution placed in the bait, selectively attracts almost exclusively female flies, making it ideal for precise monitoring.
RHA Lure is an inorganic saline solution that acts as a food bait by mimicking the ammonia odor emitted by decomposing fruit, allowing the capture of adult females that require proteins to mature their eggs and feed.

Usage
The trap consists of a bright yellow adhesive card, specifically designed to visually attract cherry fruit fly and walnut husk fly pests. In addition, the food bait, which is attached directly to the yellow card, acts as an enhancer by providing an olfactory stimulus, greatly increasing the trap’s capture capacity.
Place the traps in the upper third of the tree canopy, at a height of 1.5 to 2 m. The trap should be placed clear of leaves and foliage so that the wind can disperse the attractant and the flies can enter without obstacles. It is recommended to maintain a distance of approximately 15m between traps.
