The Grapholure Susbin baits are used to detect and know the populations of these insects through the periodic recording of captures of males of this species. This information is useful to:
- Detect the first sustained capture of males, which marks the start of pest generations in a season.
- Know the pest pressure in a given sector.
- Obtain flight curves, which allows to make comparisons between sectors and
- monitoring seasons.
- Estimate the most suitable and effective moment for the application of products for its control.

Usage
For monitoring, place a Grapholure Susbin bait in the pheromone holder for each Delta trap.
It is recommended to install the trap in the upper third of the tree; the entrance of the trap should not be obstructed by leaves or branches.
From the date of the installation, the traps must be checked every day until the detection of the first sustained capture, which marks the biological beginning of the pest. Subsequently, a review of at least three times a week is recommended until the end of the season.
Preservation
It is recommended to store it in a freezer at –18 °C. Before opening, bring it to room temperature.
