When it is applied to the products to be irradiated, the Ashland® Sterin Irradiation Indicators show if the products have been irradiated or not. When the products are exposed to irradiation, the word NOT on the indicator darkens and disappears, and only the word IRRADIATED remains legible.

Ashland® Sterin Irradiation Indicators can be used to determine whether or not a product has been irradiated. They should never be used to measure the doses received by the irradiator.
